Brad the Hero?

So yesterday, TMZ reported that Brad Womack was rushed to the hospital, but now they say that's not the case.  Apparently a man was having a panic attack and Brad and his brother Chad helped the man stay calm until an ambulance arrived to take the man to the hospital.  Brad himself has suffered from panic attacks so he knows what that feels like.  The man is said to be just fine thanks to the brothers' help.

Brad Womack Reportedly Hospitalized

TMZ reports that "The Bachelor" Brad Womack was hospitalized today!

 

Womack was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital in Austin, Texas according to TMZ.com.  He was treated there for a "non-life threatening medical condition".

Interview With Chantal O'Brien Following 'The Bachelor' Finale

Chantal took some time out of her very busy day yesterday to explain what she was feeling and how she is doing since "The Bachelor" finale aired.  Here is the full transcript of that conversation!

 

Jennifer Matarese:         Hi.  So I was wondering, when you – when Brad started telling you that it wasn't you.  What started going through your head in that moment?

 

Chantal O’Brien:           At that point, I was just trying to tell myself to not cry, and not freak out.  And as you can see it took a lot.  But I was just really trying to hold myself together at that point.

 

Transcript From Interview With Chris Harrison on 'The Bachelor' Finale

Here is the transcript of the conference call interview with Chris Harrison all about the big "Bachelor" finale.  He talks about if he thinks the couple will make it, what they can do to work on their issues, and what he thinks of Ashley as the new "Bachelorette"!

 

Question:  My first question is, you know, how the presenting the rose is always such a big deal.  Was there a reason that last night's episode, the final rose was not presented?

 

Chris Harrison:  It's so funny.  That's been the most talked about thing this morning.  And it was total producer lapse.  And we absolutely shot it.  And it happened.  And we're probably going to put it up on ABC.com.  But it's funny.  I talked to the execs last night from ABC and the producers, and I said, why did we leave that off?  It was the first time. 

 

            And our executive producer, Martin Hilton, just didn't think it would be that big of a deal, honestly.  And didn't know it would stir everybody up the way it did.  But you know, because we had the proposal and all that.  And we moved on after the final rose special, and he didn't realize he would cause such a stir.

 

            But so it did take place, and we will show it.  And I think our fans have taught us a good lesson.

 

Brad and Emily Release a Statement, Chris Harrison Talks About the Couple

Brad and Emily, the new happy couple from "The Bachelor", have released a statement to the press. They are not planning on doing the usual post-show interviews.

 
The statement reads: "At long last, Emily and I can be open to the world and each other about our relationship.  Though we are madly in love, it has been a bumpy couple of months for us and our priority right now is to focus on our relationship.  We hope that you can respect our privacy as we return to normalcy and begin our off-screen lives together.”

Chantal: "I'm Over Brad"

Chantal O'Brien says that she's moved on from Brad Womack.  We all know by now that she's got a new man in her life and she says she is happy.  So you might be wondering, what was with all of the tears then?  She said that during the "After the Final Rose" taping, what we didn't see is that they had just replayed the clip of her getting dumped by Brad.  Watching that brought back a flood of emotions, she said, "I was more crying at seeing myself cry".  Chantal said that in that moment she felt hopeless and like she might never find love, so it brought her right back to that moment when she watched the clip.

 

Chantal also said that she was shocked to learn of the problems that Brad and Emily are having in their relationship.  She says she just found out about them last night while watching the show, because she was kept separate from them the entire time at the taping.  She did not get to hear or see their portion together.

Ashley Hebert the next 'Bachelorette'

Dental school student, Ashley Hebert, is the next "Bachelorette"! 

 
You might be wondering, why not Chantal?  Well she is happily dating someone new!  Let's wish this spunky dentist best of luck as she gets to choose from 25 hunky men!  The new season of "The Bachelorette" premieres in May.

Brad Picks Emily, But It's Not All Sunshine and Roses

By now, you must have heard the news all over town; Brad Womack has picked Emily Maynard!  He proposed and she said YES!  It’s not all sunshine and roses though, but we’ll get to that later.

 

 

The finale begins with Brad reuniting with his brothers and his mom in South Africa.  He’s so happy and overwhelmed to see them that he can’t control his emotions and he begins to cry.  They ask him how he’s feeling and he says he’s 100% ready to propose!  Wow!
